RANT/REVIEW: Twinkle
After Petite Sweets, we headed back to his house and before going home, went to Twinkle in chinatown for snacks and drinks. Choose to go there since I had the card for 1 free item and just needed to buy 2 more items for that. We order 3 items in total….the cashier didn’t give us a free item. She said we have to use it next time…which I thought was BS since we went there numerous time and were able to use it at that time once it was filled up (which includes buying snacks/drinks that day a well). STUPID. -.- And to add onto it, I was asking the cashier would she recommend having the yellow pudding with the new advertised item: Hong Kong style milk tea or just regular milk tea ( I wanted pudding but just don’t know what drink taste good with it), she was confused in what I was asking her…..-______________- and kept telling me she has to charge me extra if I wanted to add anything into the drink (OKAY I GOT YOU ON THAT!). Seriously, if you don’t know, you could have simply told me that you are not sure yourself and haven’t tasted all the drinks there. SHESH!
The end of the story: IT WAS HORRIBLE. Even without the pudding, the so called HK style milk tea was diluted and was like coffee…not even one taste of tea. -______- Ugh.
Yes the place is cheap for drinks, but it is not very good. I guess you get what you paid for. I am only going there for the fried taro, although it is like burnt fried!
Lovely day today.
I ran into my postman twice in the morning…so embarassing. LOL It was like I was chasing after him to deliver my packages since the post office was closing early due to it being a Saturday. Luckily I save myself the drive, but bump into my postman twice. OH WELL.
Then babe took me to NONNO. Luckily parking wasn’t a beetch. (: I had some store credit from over a year ago, so finally went and brought two items, a shirt for my bf, and a pair of sunglasses (FINALLY!). They were having everything in the store for 50% off, so it was a great deal, that is only you went when they first had the sale. =/ Bf and I went later in the week so not much stuff left, but we manage to use my store credit and paid $20 for the rest. Not bad.
Then bf took me to Petite Sweets for these lovely macaroons and mini cupcakes. I just tasted the macaroons and they were super good, better than the ones I had a few weeks back. It is VERYVERY sweet. It cost ~$18 in total. =x Thanks love (:

School dilemma and money to pay…all so I can get into the master program for nursing
Q.Q it is almost 5AM.
EDIT: I won’t have to worry about any of this at this time if only I had enough money.
My goal is to not only graduate this winter, but also graduate w/o owing a penny!
I have came to see that IT IS OKAY to attend a cc to save money, but if you are staying there FOREVER, then that is another question. PLUS, you are saving money AND getting a good professor, RATHER THAN paying hundreds more (literally) for a suky ass teacher just cos of the ‘university’ status! Prsh! I will drop that status just so I can have the grade I deserve and not a grade I am mad and pissed off at the prof. for.
I think I have made my decision:
I will be attending for the first summer session taking A&P 1 and do an online psyc class in the fall WHILE finishing up my biochem classes at university. This can save me about 1k! yah!*
On a bad note:
…if saving money can let me enjoy my summer vocay in Cali and not go on the road trip with my relative, then it is a thing I must sacrifice…just because of money T_T
